# Daily Floor Cleaning

Routine floor cleaning should happen daily. This will help prolong the need to restore the floor.

Procedures:

  1. Thoroughly dust mop the floor.
  2. Sweep up any debris on the floor.
  3. Mop or auto scrub the floor with neutral floor cleaner.
  4. Use a high speed burnisher if need to maintain the shine of the floor finish.
  5. Dust mop the floor to remove any dust from the burnishing process.

# Interim Floor Cleaning

Interim floor cleaning should be performed when marking or slight soiling occurs.

Procedures:

  1. Thoroughly dust mop the floor.
  2. Sweep up any debris on the floor.
  3. Use a low speed floor machine with a green pad and Multi-purpose cleaner to remove the top layer of floor finish.
  4. Apply one coat of floor finish.

# Restorative Floor Cleaning

Restorative floor cleaning should be performed when heavy soiling has occurred and interim cleaning is no longer effective.

Procedures:

  1. Thoroughly dust mop the floor.
  2. Sweep up any debris on the floor.
  3. Use a low speed floor machine with a black pad and floor stripper to remove the all layers of floor finish.
  4. Apply 4 coats of floor finish.
