# Daily Floor Cleaning
Routine floor cleaning should happen daily. This will help prolong the need to restore the floor.
Procedures:
- Thoroughly dust mop the floor.
- Sweep up any debris on the floor.
- Mop or auto scrub the floor with neutral floor cleaner.
- Use a high speed burnisher if need to maintain the shine of the floor finish.
- Dust mop the floor to remove any dust from the burnishing process.
# Interim Floor Cleaning
Interim floor cleaning should be performed when marking or slight soiling occurs.
Procedures:
- Thoroughly dust mop the floor.
- Sweep up any debris on the floor.
- Use a low speed floor machine with a green pad and Multi-purpose cleaner to remove the top layer of floor finish.
- Apply one coat of floor finish.
# Restorative Floor Cleaning
Restorative floor cleaning should be performed when heavy soiling has occurred and interim cleaning is no longer effective.
Procedures:
- Thoroughly dust mop the floor.
- Sweep up any debris on the floor.
- Use a low speed floor machine with a black pad and floor stripper to remove the all layers of floor finish.
- Apply 4 coats of floor finish.
